The areas of law practised by the Clinic are determined and reviewed annually by the Clinic’s Board of Directors according to the identified needs of each community served.

Types of Services
Representation
We provide lawyers to represent you before government boards and tribunals in the areas of law practiced by the clinic if you are a low-income resident of the Niagara region.
Summary Legal Advice
We give free legal advice on the telephone, by appointment or on a walk-in basis in the areas of law listed above. There are no financial eligibility restrictions when asking for summary advice.
Referrals
We don’t practise in all areas of law. If we are unable to help you, we may be able to refer you to someone who can.
We can’t help you with criminal, family, civil, provincial offences, real estate or immigration law. We do not issue legal aid certificates.
